Tajima Xcela has a factory applied finish already applied to the floor so only minimal coating is required to protect the floor after installation. Tajima recommends 2 coats of finish to enhance the beauty of the product and extend the life of the floor.
Inspect subfloor surfaces carefully to determine acceptability; and thoroughly sand and vacuum surface to remove miscellaneous dirt and foreign materials. All Tajima floor tiles shall be installed under proper job conditions per manufacturer’s current written specifications and installation instructions, using only manufacturer’s approved adhesive. Eco Bond or Chapco #299 adhesive is approved for installation of Xcela.
